Yummy Stuff Home Delivery Service - some information about how we do things

We always buy from local traditional farmers whenever possible - we insist on the highest quality and total freshness at a reasonable price. Occasionally we buy organic produce for you to try, from local organically certified farmers - for example, beautiful leeks or celeriac and Jeruselem artichokes grown only a few miles away.

WE WORK HARD TO ENSURE OUR FRESH PRODUCE IS OF THE BEST QUALITY AVAILABLE - SOURCED MAINLY FROM SMALL FARMERS WHO WORK AS HARD AS WE DO TO ENSURE THEY SELL HIGH QUALITY PRODUCE THEY ARE PROUD OF. WE CONSTANTLY REPLENISH OUR STOCKS TO ENSURE WE ALWAYS SUPPLY YOU WITH THE FRESHEST PRODUCE AVAILABLE.

Our policy is to source produce from as close to home as we can to provide a good varied selection to you, our customer. We buy local seasonal produce first where available, British after that and then European. Currently only our Fairtrade bananas and root ginger are grown outside Europe - Dominican Republic and China respectively - simply because some fruits and vegetables that we all love to eat cannot be grown in the UK or even Europe.

You can choose a fresh produce box from £10.00 upwards (this is our minimum amount for free delivery) and we will deliver it free of charge along with your other groceries if you so choose - otherwise just the box!

Locally Handmade (in Lewes) Organic Sausages, Beefburgers and Free-range Bacon - Certified Organic By The Soil Association and one of Rick Stein's Local Food Heroes! These delicious sausages are entirely natural and contain NO PRESERVATIVES or other chemicals - they are therefore supplied frozen.

Cooking Note: All the following sausages are made using natural skins, we therefore recommend gentle cooking in a moderate temperature oven.
